Your campervan conversion journey starts with your own, reliable, VW Transporter...
The process starts when you drop off your pre-booked van into our sales site. We check over the vehicle, confirm the final details and take your vehicle to our factory site.
We prepare the van for conversion by cutting the roof and window apertures. We then install the wiring.
We then fit the roof of your choice, fit the windows, and then insulate and line the van ready for installing the furniture.
Next, the one-piece floor is installed, along with the new side panels, water tanks and preparations for the diesel heater if ordered.
By this time our carpentry department have completed building your furniture, it is then ready to be installed, along with any options you have requested.
Your converted van is now an award winning Bilbo conversion, ready for your collection. We will book you in a time for a full demonstration of how all the features work and get you on your way.

Bilbo’s multi-purpose campervan
The Space has been designed as a multi- purpose vehicle with a range of removable pods allowing you to use your van for business during the week and as a campervan at the weekend, or whenever you want. The Space is available on the SWB or LWB chassis.

Komba Conversions
Bilbo’s no-nonsense campervan
A wide seated, industry acclaimed campervan with the largest double bed in its class, capable of seating up to 6 people, it has emerged as the ideal campervan for people with children and who lead many different lives. The Komba is available on the LWB chassis only.

Bilbo’s most popular conversion
It’s easy to see why, packed with many features including a fitted grill, a 65-litre compressor fridge, a 2-ring hob, fitted sink with electric tap, fresh water and waste water tanks and cleverly designed storage space for all your bits and pieces. The Celex is available on SWB or LWB chassis.

Nexa Conversions
Ideal for those wanting to downsize from a larger motorhome.
The perfect solution for those wanting to downsize from a larger motorhome or caravan, this conversion is built with two comfortable beds, a spacious rear galley kitchen and storage for a porta-poti, Ideal for day trippers and for those that want to have an extended holiday. The Nexa is available on SWB or LWB chassis.

Nexa+ Conversions
Bilbo’s latest campervan conversion
The Nexa+ is Bilbo’s development of the standard Nexa and includes a fitted plumbed in electric cassette toilet in the rear, together with a re-worked kitchen area. It comes with a Bilbo’s award-winning low-lie elevating roof, allowing the vehicle to pass under most height restrictions. The result being, a campervan that is designed for many uses. The Nexa+ is available on SWB or LWB chassis.

Bilbo's Campervan Conversion Roof Options Include...
Bilbo's low-lie elevating roof
Standard - Bilbo's unique side elevating roof is standard across the range, maximising standing height along the length of the vehicle. The roof construction includes a fiberglass top with a heavy duty durable vinyl awning section, twin zipped midge proof screens front and rear, and large side windows with roll-up blinds. Standard on the Space, Komba, Celex, Nexa and Nexa+. The roof is available on short and long wheelbase models. Roof beds optional.
Continental elevating roof
Optional - This front lifting roof has the added advantage of accommodating a wider fitted roof bed, suitable for both children and adults. When not in use, the bed conveniently pushes up and out of the way. The roof is available on short or long wheelbase models. Available on Komba and Celex.
Bilbo's High-Top
Optional - Available on short wheelbase models, the Bilbo's High-Top roof offers substantial insulation, storage compartments and shelves and includes double-glazed side windows with blinds and netting and a roof vent with built in light, blind and netting. Available on Space, Celex, Nexa and Nexa+ SWB models.
