The Space is Bilbo’s entry level edition which brings a totally, revolutionary and flexible approach to campervanning.

Utilising the same design and build quality as the award winning range of Bilbo’s existing VW campervans, the ‘Space’ has been developed by creating a range of ‘pods’ that fit into the rear of the vehicle. These an be adapted to allow for differing life styles and if needed the Space can be used during the week for business and at the weekends as a camper van.

How you use your pods is up to you, as you to control your individual space. You can remove all of the pods and utilise the space for what you want, or just use some or all of the pods to suit your activity. The Space is ideal for people who want the flexibility of a dual-purpose vehicle.

The New Space is Bilbo’s ‘Entry level’ VW camper van and is a great way of becoming a first time camper owner, with the additional bonus of being able to use the vehicle for a variety of different uses.

The New Space is built on a VW passenger carrier base vehicle.

The range of removable pods include:

• Kitchen pod with integral shelf storage, water pump, water containers and portable gas stove.
• Kitchen pod with integral shelf storage (Optional porta potti storage)
• Top loading storage Pod
• Sleeping Pod with top loading storage x 2
• Cool box Pod with storage

Water

The New Space VW camper van is supplied with a removable pod that houses two x 12 litre plastic portable water containers.

A simple pump action tap is fitted to the top of the Pod and is connected by way of tubing to the bottles. By pumping the handle the water is easily dispensed.

A plastic bowl enables waste water to be dealt with in a simple and hygienic manner.

Simple but very effective.

Electrics

The conversion is fitted with a 12v system and 240v mains hook up.

The 12v system utilises power from an 80AH secondary battery which is charged whilst driving or when plugged into a mains hook up.

The system runs the interior dimmable LED lighting and the portable cool box, and depending on consumption, is designed to allow for one nights usage without the need to recharge the battery.

The 240V is required to run the Microwave which is an integral part of the conversion. The conversion is fitted with two 240v sockets and two 12v sockets as standard.

Gas

A portable gas stove with its own refillable gas cylinder is supplied as part of the package and gives you the ability to cook inside or outside the camper van.
