De Zine Top
Bilbo’s Design, in partnership with Westfalia, is proud to introduce the new Mercedes-Benz ‘De Zine’.
The Mercedes De Zine breaks new ground, with double sliding doors for use in the UK and on the Continent. It includes luxury seating for four and is ideal for daily use enabling you to go virtually anywhere, including multi-storey car parks and under 2m height barriers.
Standard vehicle features compare to those of a luxury car with twin cab air-bags, ESP, ABS, Tempmatic air-conditioning, ipod socket, electric cab windows, central locking, heated & electric mirrors, multi-positional back rest, adjustable steering wheel, CD/RDS radio, colour coded body including the elevating roof and other additional features.
As a motorhome, the raised roof locks securely in position creating a spacious living area with ample headroom whilst standing. The rear sliding seat with its integral lumber support system electrically operates to form the lower double bed, and together with the roof bed allows you to sleep 4 adults in comfort. The rear seating can be removed totally or positioned behind the cab or at the rear of the vehicle for maximum storage space.
A comprehensive control panel gives detailed information,
and includes controls for the diesel heating system, refrigerator, water tank levels, etc. The integrated two-burner hob and sink is concealed by a moulded lid whilst not in use and the optional grill unit supplements the kitchen area. An Electrolux 40 litre top loading compressor fridge is set in a totally removable unit enabling access through the nearside door. It is fitted with a good length of electrics cable also, giving you the ability to store it in a side awning whilst still plugged in. Both front seats rotate to take full advantage of the hospitality area, with a sliding table that tucks away neatly into the sliding door.

Gas Top
Designed to supply the gas hob, the De Zine gas locker will carry one Camping Gaz 907 cylinder at 30Mbar. The gas bottle sits in a moulded compartment located behind a revolving locker. This is easily accessed from the tailgate located at the rear of the vehicle.
Water Top
The De Zine is fitted with a 36 litre onboard fresh water tank and 22 litre waste tank, with an easily accessible drainage tap.
Electrics Top
The Bilbo’s De Zine is fitted with a 12V system and 240V hook-up. The 12V system uses power from a 110amp/hr leisure battery (additional battery to the vehicle battery) and controls all 12V conversion equipment. This system runs the compressor fridge, lighting, water system, operates the electric bed/seat and is charged when driving or when hooked up to mains.
A Power Management System is fitted with a digital display showing; battery voltage levels, fresh water level, internal and external temperature and controls the diesel heater and fridge temperature.
The De Zine conversion is fitted with a 240V socket and three 12V sockets as standard.

There is a choice of three diesel engine options and one petrol, two 4 cylinder and two V6, 6 cylinder. The former have manual six speed gearboxes (optional automatic) and the latter five speed Tiptronic Automatic gearboxes.

Warranties Top
Our Bilbo’s De Zine is a conversion built for us by German converters Westfalia. Any Base vehicle issues are covered by Mercedes and Conversion issues are covered by Westfalia with work carried out by Bilbo’s.
Bilbo’s modification & products Top
Consisting of a non-transferable 2-year / 24,000 miles (whichever comes first) covering all aspects of workmanship and components. Should defects be deemed to result from misuse, this warranty will be void. Subject to one years warranty.
Mercedes 3-year roadside assistance Top
Mercedes offer a 3-year warranty with unlimited mileage as well as UK and European breakdown cover.
Mercedes 3-year whole vehicle warranty Top
Consisting of a 3-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty.
Mercedes 12-year body protection* Top
Mercedes offer a 12 year anti-perforation warranty covering all paintwork (as long as the vehicle is serviced by a Mercedes-Benz dealer.
Note (*) These warranties only apply to the paint finish and body panels manufactured and supplied by Mercedes.
